Seachtain na Gaeilge 2017
“An fhéile Ghaeilge is mó in Éirinn agus ar fud an domhain!
Is féile idirnáisiúnta Ghaeilge í Seachtain na Gaeilge, atá ar an gceiliúradh is mó dár dteanga agus dár gcultúr dúchais a bhíonn ar siúl in Éirinn agus in go leor tíortha eile gach bliain”.
Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge 2017 ar fheabhais.  Bhí spraoí, sport & craic ag gach éinne sa scoil. S na G provided ample opportunities for the Irish language, culture, heritage and music to be celebrated in all its manifestations. Some of the celebrations that took place included a whole school tráth na gceist, ranganna rince, cluichí móra spóirt, comórtas ealaín agus exploration of the Irish emblems of music - the bodhrán and the harp. Lá Glas and class concerts were also facilitated throughout the school. Grandparents of the pupils were invited into the school to mark the culmination of Seachtain na Gaeilge and to celebrate Grandparents’ Day 2017. This was a wonderful and most memorable occasion. St.Patrick's Day Activities

We hope everyone had a wonderful Saint Patrick's Day! Below we see some of the many art, craft, gaeilge and writing activities the children of Naomh Padraig engaged in during their preparation for Saint Patrick's Day!

La Glas

La Glas takes place on Wednesday 15th March 2017. On this day, pupils are given an opportunity to 'dress up' in their national colours.

Children are asked to be dressed in full uniform on Grandparents' Day - Thursday 16th March 2017.
