Collaborative Investigations!!

Collaborate investigations took place between Junior/Senior Infants and 5th class. We investigated the various components of blood. We ‘examined’ the red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets of Gerry the Giant, as he is currently awaiting a blood transfusion. We hope that he feels better soon!!!

A Visit from All-Ireland Champions!

We were delighted to welcome the Galway Minor All-Ireland Champions Sean Loftus and Ultan Hurney to the school today to talk with us about their path to All-Ireland victory in Croke Park recently, and also to show us the cup. In particular, it was great to welcome our past pupil Ultan Hurney back to the school.

Renmore Army visit Cregmore NS

We were very fortunate to have three members from the Renmore Army Barracks on Tuesday the 29th of September visit the School.  They brought along a copy of the Proclamation and the Irish flag to celebrate the anniversary of the 1916 Rising.

We were delighted to be able to ask the men questions about life in the army, their uniform and how to enter.

End of Year Mass

Our end of year mass took place in the school hall. This very special and memorable occasion was celebrated by Fr. Des. The celebration comprised of a wonderful choir, musical recitals, prayers and readings. A special graduation ceremony also took place for Rang 6. We wish them well as they progress into secondary school.
