WELL DONE TO ALL!
6th and 5th class School Tour to Dublin
On Friday 20th, 6th and 5th class went on a school tour to Butlers Chocolate Factory. We first were given a tour by the kind staff around the factory. We were shown videos, pictures and machines that make chocolate. We then were given a chocolate bear and white chocolate to decorate it.We all had a great time in the factory. After that, we were brought to the café and shop in the factory and we ate our lunch on the green. Next, we boarded the bus and went to Liffey Valley shopping centre. We were put in groups and were given time to explore the shops. Finally, we boarded the bus for home, shopped-out-of-it and full of chocolate. We all had a brilliant time!

Finally, we got a group photo outside Butlers Chocolate Factory.
Pupils from 1st class enjoyed presenting their projects
Each pupil chose a country to research and enjoyed sharing this information to other members of the school community. Lots of the projects reflected facts on countries currently participating in the 2014 World Cup! Well done to all the boys and girls.
Reunion at Cregmore NS!!
Reunion at Cregmore N.S.
In 2034 In 2034, 6th class of 2013/14 come back to Scoil Padraig Naofa (which has recently been submerged in cow dung by the new Taoiseach PJ Burke!) First into the classroom is the new presenter of Top Gear, Loman Jinks. Loman then welcomes in Ryan O’Meara, the founder and owner of ‘Ryan’s Tea’. Niamh McGrath enters with her hurl and sliotar as captain of the Galway Senior Camoige team. Niamh runs to open the door for Chloe Molloy, owner of ‘Chlo-Chlo-Mollo-With-The-Big-Afro’ hair salon. After disembarking from his private jet, Eanna Kelly walks in casually in ‘Lelli Kelly’ shoes as he has taken over the Lelli Kelly Company. Adam Burke strolls in with his personal body guard because he is now the head builder in Lego Land.
Next to arrive are first-time joint Popes; Enda Slattery and Damien Clarke in their Pope Mobile! Suddenly, hysterical girly screaming rings out. All those inside rush to the windows to see what the commotion is. A stretch limo enters the car park and four men emerge- Ian Fitzmaurice, Ethan Fox, Warren Bedford and Nathan Grainger; members of the world’s most famous boy band, ‘R.I.P,’ who have re-united for this special occasion. After the hype dies down, in struts Olivia Tolhurst with her stylish clothes and perfect make-up. She is the proud owner of Olivia’s Boutique; a family-run hair, clothes and make-up shop. Next to arrive is Vicka Mulroy, jetlagged, after her recent tour with Bolshoi Ballet Company. Vicka also works part-time in an animal shelter.
Sarah McHale runs in to tell everyone about her fantastic achievement as the leader of the RTE Concert Orchestra! Sarah also works part-time as a traditional music teacher, and may even consider replacing renowned teacher, Maude Connolly, when she retires from Cregmore NS later this year. Then Jade Daly enters and she has become a comedian(she also works part-time in the animal shelter with Vicka) and she makes everyone laugh by telling brilliant jokes! Everybody claps and in walks the Taoiseach himself, PJ Burke, who promises to remove all cow dung from the school before the day is out! Chloe McNamara has taken over Claregalway Basketball Club and scores 11 slam dunks in the hall before parading into the classroom with a basketball in her hands.
Neil Farragher saunters in carrying 3 elaborately decorated cakes as he has opened his own bakery. He is closely followed by Nicola King, head cake decorator in the same bakery. Elena Morrissey comes in with gifts for everyone from her craft shop. She knits, sews and makes jewellery for her lovely shop beside the school. Amy Walsh jogs in in her football boots as captain of the Galway Senior Football team, something she had her heart set on for many years. Last but not least, Miss Glynn enters the car park in her pink mini cooper and sprints into the classroom to see her all-time favourite class! She tells them about how much she has missed them since they left and was so delighted to see everyone return for this re-union.
To put the icing on the cake the Popes said mass, R.I.P. preformed in the hall, Nicola and Neil brought their buns and cakes and, well you could say, it was like Miss Glynn’s birthday party 20 years ago!
