Coffee Morning & Bake Sale in aid of St. Vincent de Paul-a Huge Success!
A big thanks to everyone who participated in the coffee-morning held here in the school before Christmas. We were thrilled with the number of cakes and baked goods that were sent in for the bake sale and I'm sure that everyone enjoyed the fare on offer. The children could hardly believe their eyes when they were greeted with such a selection of cakes, buns, gingerbread men, cupcakes, chocolate logs and home-made biscuits to name but a few. Visitors were drawn into 'Seomra 9' in the same manner as Hansel and Gretel were to the witch's house... some even found it hard to choose what to buy as they became mesmerised by the tantalising goodies on offer. However, no-one left empty-handed. Each child in the school was treated to something from the bake-sale before going home that evening. Here are some pictures to enjoy!
Visitors to the coffee morning were treated to traditional Irish music, played by rang a 5 and rang a 6 and accompanied by Ms. Connolly and Ms. Healy.
Rang a 6, with the help and guidance of Margaret and Caitríona served teas and coffees to the visitors. By the end of the day we were delighted to have raised €627.83 for a very worthy cause. Again, on behalf of rang a 6, I'd like to thank all those involved and all those who contributed to make the day so successful.

Fr. Des was delighted with the Christmas cake he purchased, made by Ian Moloney's mum and granny.
